Well? Just what the hell do you have lined up?
Me...I'm moving.
And it's still up in the air as to whether or not that's a good idea.

Welcome!
Thanks for joining.
And while you're here, relax, look around, contribute some concert photos, maybe even start a topic or two (or add on to the ones we got now) in our discussion forum.
Feel The Word Magazine has made some tremendous strides in the first seven issues. We owe that to you, and we look forward to just taking this thing as far as we can go, getting better and better along the way.
And hey, while I'm thinking about it, remember we still need material (short fiction/poetry and album/film reviews) for our upcoming eighth issue (due out the first week of May). So, think about sending some stuff our way.
And think about telling anyone you know who might listen to send some stuff our way as well.
Again, thanks for joining.

Just any thoughts you feel like tossing in this general direction.
For example...I should have gone to bed three hours ago.

RE: What Are You Reading?

"Despite having many other things to read, I'm rereading (for about the fiftieth time) one of my favorite fantasy series by Mercedes Lackey. Her later stuff has become lengthy and trite, but her first stories were fun and enjoyable. One of the first fantasy series I ever read." Thanks for the tip. I tend to enjoy fantasy that relates somehow to reality, although the best pure fantasy can be like poetry in its imagery and metaphors. So lots of sci-fi intrigues me and I must mention Carlos Castaneda because I have lived close to the wilderness for many years (although I am in a city now) and many of the 'nature spirits' I felt there - and wrote about - were so similar to his descriptions that I became quite freaked out when I read his books for the first time.

RE: Welcome to Feel the Word!

I'm very glad to be here, thanks. I'm a writer living in Calgary, Alberta where I am involved in workshops and readings and always looking to collaborate with artists, musicians, actors, etc. to amplify our art-works. I would like to try publishing some of my novel outlines, 1 to 3 page items usually, as interesting reads in themselves. I wonder if anybody is doing that and if any other writers have collections of these condensed pieces to contribute. Any other promotional ideas?
